Renninger's Antique Extravaganza

We did a short visit to Renningers yesterday after a real lousy estate sale in a golf course community.  But today was the day that we had planned for the "full Renningers experience!"  Since we live in town, we took the back roads which brought us to a stop light at Highway 441.  The traffic on 441 was as far as the eye could see waiting to get in.  Bur when the light turned green, we just shot across the road right into Renningers,  Thank You Google!

Parking was free, and since we visited yesterday and bought the 3-day pass, we just walked right in.
There seemed to be a fewer antiques than Brimfield and a lot more "decor" Farm items along the lines of Joanna Gaines "Magnolia Farms" genre.

It was a beautiful day, about 75 degrees with a slight breeze.  We saw almost all of it except the places that are there every weekend.  We figured that we can see those next week.  It was fun stopping and chatting with lots of the vendors.

We even saw one guy here that we always see at the auctions back home in MA.  His name is Bill and he mostly buys all the Sterling Silver and the local auctions.  The vendor set up next to him was from Fall River and often goes to John Powers auctions in Sterling.

Elly managed to a few items, but most of the things she liked were way over-priced.  We found out that the November Renningers is the best.  There were quite a few empty dealer spaces and a few of the vendors mentioned that it's not like it was a few years back.  Even back home the antique busines appears to be falling off.

Interesting wall art made from an old piano
As we were leaving, I saw this old Indian Motorcycle for sale, No price buy i thought it was interesting.

After a lot of walking around and resting a few times we headed back home for a much needed soak in the hot tub spa!
