Tuesday: SiteSeeing, Private Beach, "Men On Boats"

Today was a little overcast and rain was expected so we decided to do some "site seeing" .  We headed down to Chatham and Morris island to explore the Monomoy Island Wildlife Refuge.

After a nice walk, we went to downtown Chatham.  Too many people for us! We visited a few Thrift Stores, but no bargains were to be found.  Drove a little further to Harwich Port, lot of people there also.  We had lunch at Brax Landing Restaurant.  We started out with oysters on the half shell, then Elly had the Salmon Caesar Salad, Steve hand the Stuffed Sole with newburg Sauce. Both were excellent.

When we got back to the house we decided to explore the beach that belongs to the Association. It was quiet and only 1 other family was there.

At 7:00 we had tickets to see the play "Men On Boats" at the Cape Rep Theatre in Brewster. The cast was all women and told a stylized story of a one-armed explorer and his 9 men that were lost on a Colorado River expedition in 1869. It was "ingenious & hilarious."
